On August 1st, during the hurry and flurry of preparations for the Pyramid Studios-Tallahassee performance, Loren Miner, beloved artist, performer, student and friend passed away. Our hearts were broken by his death not only because it is always so in instances such as this, but also because of the impact this man had on so many lives at Pyramid.  In response to Mr. Miner's death, Pyramid co-founder Bill Fuller and former Pyramid Studios Art Director Maureen Raftery composed a special piece for the Tallahassee Democrat that reflected the story of a man "who despite overwhelming obstacles, lived a life of striving and achievement, of purpose and meaning, of joy and happiness.  His was a life that lifted and inspired the hearts of everyone around him." It is truly a breath-taking article, summing up so much of what we all felt about this astounding man...our friend, Loren Miner.  To learn more about Loren Miner and the inspiration he instilled in all of us, we invite you to read the article, published by the Democrat on August 11, 2019 by clicking here.
