On Tuesday, March 13, the staff and students of Pyramid Pensacola bade a sad farewell to Performing Arts Coordinator Dr. Carol Culton, who has officially retired. In celebration of her retirement, the Pyramid Show Choir serenaded Dr. Culton.  Their song?  “Season’s of Love,” which asks “How do you measure a year in the life?” and answers “How about love?”.

After the special performance, the students gifted Dr. Culton with handmade cards and artwork. And, with a few tears, much laughter, and even more hugs, Dr. Carol Culton passed her baton on leaving each student knowing they were all stars able to achieve more than could be imagined and leaving our hearts, though a little broken, even fuller than before.

So many thanks to Carol Culton for making a difference for the students of Pyramid for more than 10 years!  And while we are truly saddened by her departure, we do want her to know that we are so grateful for the time she's spent with us, the joy she's brought all of us with her love, patience, and talent and for the difference, she has made for the students of Pyramid. So from all of us to you, Carol Culton...HAPPY RETIREMENT!!! We will all miss you greatly!
