cake with balloons and words on it

n June 1, Pyramid celebrated 27 years of providing services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In celebration of this momentous event, Pyramid's programs held parities complete with cake, balloons, arts and crafts, staff recognition and shenanigans, which resulted in some very sticky (and sweet) directors! This year, to have a little extra fun, Executive Director Lana Smith challenged senior staffers to grab snaps of program directors getting cake smashed in their faces.  Needless to say, the opportunity was seized with relish and the results were hilarious!

Only one director, Pyramid Pensacola's Joseph Green, upon discovering the surprise prank, decided to take matters into his own hands - or rather put them in the students hands - and made it into an event, setting up a station for students to pie program leaders in the face! To see that video, visit Pyramid's Facebook page by clicking here!

Pictured are: Pyramid Fort Walton Beach Director Niki Williams (such a very good sport), Pyramid Panama City Director Cindy Coleman (blindsided by a student no less), Pyramid Tampa Director Jermaine Lewis (with the evidence on his face) and Pyramid Studios-Tallahassee Director Lindsay Joseph (with Ms. Smith, who was the only one brave enough to take on a brand new director).
